Gowey Abstract & Title was started in 1931 by Glen A. Gowey, who was the Taylor County Register of Deeds at the time. Since then, the company has become an industry leader in all title services and has grown from serving one County out of one office, to directly providing title services for over 25 Wisconsin Counties out of 10 physical locations. The Company also provides title services for the rest of the state through a network of title search partners.
